Carry out safe work in the presence of asbestos. It is for these reasons in particular that work in the presence of materials containing asbestos is highly regulated and that workers, called upon to work in this type of environment, must follow the established rules and be adequately trained.
In more detail, the student will become familiar with the following concepts:
• Define the legal framework relating to occupational health and safety in general.
• Distinguish certain articles of the Occupational Health and Safety Regulations concerning work in the presence of asbestos.
• Distinguish the different types of asbestos and their properties.
• Identify materials likely to contain asbestos.
• Associate the risks and dangers of asbestos for health.
• Distinguish the different levels of risk depending on the work to be performed.

Évaluation sommative requise
Training offered online in self-study mode. You can follow the lessons and exercises at any time, 24/7, for the duration of your access. A tutor is available by email. A summative evaluation is planned at the end of your training in order to validate your acquired knowledge.
