Digital
Beginner
In April 2019, the Ministry of Education and Higher Education issued a digital competence reference framework that aims to develop our digital skills. This framework is defined by a set of skills relating to confident, critical and creative use of digital technology to achieve learning-related objectives. This framework is divided into 12 dimensions.
At the end of this training, the participant will be able to plan information research, develop strategies for searching for information, assess the quality and reliability of this information by cross-referencing sources, and note and cite authors. He or she will also be able to organize and classify information to find it.
Once reserved for specialists, access to information has become democratized and exploded, at the risk of overwhelming its users. Today, the quantity of resources has the effect of leveling the different levels of reliability and causing rapid and sometimes harmful overviews of information. It is therefore necessary to develop and mobilize one's information culture in a context of information overload.
